AgroGlideā¢ Two-Wire Decoder. The AG-Output decoder is used to switch on 24V AC solenoids, relays, master valves, etc. The AG-Output can be configured as a valve for regular zone operation or to switch on a pump or master valve. The advanced custom AGP communication protocol is used to regularly communicate with the controller. Built-in NFC technology allows for easy configuration of valve number or pump/master number, eliminating the need for a special, costly programmer.
The AgroGlide mobile app can program and test the AG-Output without the need to power it, making it highly convenient for field installation and testing. All configurations can be saved inside the decoder memory and retrieved at any time using the AgroGlide mobile app, eliminating the need for special tags or stickers to mark the address and type on the decoder.
The AG-Output can be connected up to 5,000 meters from the controller, depending on the wire gauge used. AG-Outputs consume very little current in sleep mode, allowing up to 100 AG-Decoders to be connected in a single path and operate concurrently with up to 24 AG-Outputs at a time. The output voltage of the decoder is the same as the two-wire voltage, which is 24VAC. However, the output voltage may drop based on the total load, distance, and wire gauge of the two-wire system. This can be calculated using simple Ohm's Law.
